AI Revolution: Uplifting Our Future – From Chatbots to Intelligent Colleagues

From the early days of chatbots to a future where AI evolves into an intelligent assistant and colleague, this seminar, under the theme “Where are we now? What’s Next?”, featured Mr. Wason Liwlompaisan sharing insights into the evolution of AI technology from its origins to the present. He also explored AI’s transformative potential in shaping the future of organizations and society. AI development began in 1966 with Eliza, one of the earliest chatbots created by Joseph Weizenbaum to simulate human conversation. Although it couldn’t truly understand language, Eliza represented a pivotal milestone in human-machine communication. In the late 1960s and 1970s, another significant advancement came with Shakey, the first robot capable of independent thinking and decision-making. DataWise participated in a seminar on the topic “From Strategy to Execution and Utilizing AI in Data Governance and Data Management,” organized by DAMA Thailand-Bangkok.  The seminar encouraged businesses to prioritize AI governance in Thailand and integrate AI across various sectors. It offered insights into applying AI in the medical and banking industries through real-world use cases, allowing attendees to understand the key components for successful data governance projects and AI innovations, which serve as guidelines for effective governance. The seminar also covered Data Management Professional Certification, ISO 8000 standards, and the “soft side” of Organizational Change Management—essential elements for achieving success and ensuring compliance in data governance. DataWise Collaborated with Google Thailand and Confluent to Host “Data in Action”

MFEC, led by DataWise, in collaboration with Google Thailand and Confluent, organized the “Data in Action” event, inviting customers from the “Data in Motion” event to continue the discussion on Real-Time Data with Artificial Intelligence (AI).  The session provided insights into using Confluent and Google Cloud Services for efficient data connectivity and processing, featuring use cases that demonstrated the integration of the Confluent real-time streaming platform to transfer data between various sources and destinations with Google Cloud services, such as BigQuery ML, in building models on Vertex AI for more convenient operations. The DataWise team from MFEC, recognized as the first and only Confluent Professional Global Service team in Thailand, participated in sharing their expertise, allowing attendees to gain practical knowledge that they could apply to their own businesses.
